Commitment to the SDGs
We are committed to sustainable development...
The United Nations adopted 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in 2015 as part of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. These goals provide a framework for addressing global challenges related to poverty, inequality, climate change, environmental degradation, and more. Here is how we, Keep The Earth Fresh (KTEF), align with each of the SDGs:
No Poverty: KTEF's mission is to promote sustainable practices and preserve the natural beauty of our planet for future generations, including the most vulnerable populations, such as the homeless.
Zero Hunger: KTEF distributes eco-friendly meals to the homeless to encourage a greater sense of community and in caring for our most vulnerable populations, which aligns with this goal.
Good Health and Well-being: By working towards reducing pollution and litter, KTEF aims to promote good health and well-being for all.
Quality Education: KTEF educates citizens on the interconnectivity of pollution through our community cleanups and citizen science project, which aligns with this goal.
Gender Equality: KTEF welcomes all volunteers, regardless of gender, to participate in our initiatives and promote equality.
Clean Water and Sanitation: By reducing pollution and litter debris, KTEF aims to improve global access to clean, uncontaminated, drinkable water and sanitation for all.
Affordable and Clean Energy: KTEF promotes environmental sustainability through our initiatives and aims to direct citizens towards sustainable rounded practices.
Decent Work and Economic Growth: By promoting and adopting sustainable cyclic practices, KTEF aims to contribute to the growth of a sustainable economy.
Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure: The Keep The Earth Fresh app is an innovative solution to track, understand, prevent, manage, and mitigate litter debris by creating a citizen informed gradient of polluted areas across the globe. Our ecosustainable fashion line is an innovative solution to use natural cyclic products without synthetic materials.
Reduced Inequalities: KTEF's mission is to promote sustainable practices for all citizens, regardless of their socio-economic status. We strive to provide open access education for all!
Sustainable Cities and Communities: KTEF's initiatives focus on empowering citizens and communities to come together to care for our planet and all that live on it.
Responsible Consumption and Production: KTEF promotes a cyclic model of product use, completing the cycle from production to use to reuse and recycling. We further encourage citizens to take action against improperly disposed goods!
Climate Action: By promoting environmental sustainability, KTEF aims to contribute to the fight against climate change. Further, high levels of pollutant debris reduce the resilience of ecosystems across the globe. By reducing the number of stressors these ecosystems are exposed to, we can protect the interconnected ecosystems on this planet!
Life Below Water: KTEF's initiatives focus on reducing pollution and litter in urban areas, which can have a significant impact on marine ecosystems and organisms.
Life On Land: KTEF's initiatives focus on reducing pollution and litter in urban areas, which can have a significant impact on land ecosystems and organisms.
Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions: KTEF promotes a culture of taking positive change into our own hands and encourages citizens to take part in initiatives to make this world a better place.
Partnerships for the Goals: KTEF is looking for partnerships to increase global citizen awareness and involvement to boost cleanup initiatives across the globe and protect life on this planet.
